Bringing Mountain Biking to Myrtle Beach

Marshall Brown has been leading the effort to bring Mountain Biking to Myrtle Beach. He is currently the head of the Waccamaw Trail Blazers Mountain Biking Club. Please check their facebook
page for the latest information on projects and riding activities.

Waccamaw Trail Blazers Mountain Biking Club

The Waccamaw Trail Blazers Mountain Biking Club was formed in March of 2010 to bring riders in Horry County together to promote and maintain the Jackson Bluff Trails at the Waccamaw National Refuge and is the first Off-Road biking club in the Horry & Georgetown County area. With help from Property Manager Craig Sasser, they have begun the task of building single track mountain bike trails. This is a very rare opportunity ! Only a handful of trails exist on National Refuge Property. They are dedicated to building sustainable trails while taking care of the surrounding environment. By working with Local, State, and National agencies, their goal is to maintain and preserve lands, open to Trail Biking in the South Carolina Coastal area. If you wish to know more about the club, please visit their website at www.waccamawtrailblazers.com
